Trustee Snell provides update to local community
The local public school board trustee appeared before council’s Coordinated Committee on April 8.

The Veterans Way and Klondike Park Road Reconstruction and Watermain Installation Phase 1 project will be re-starting April 8.
There will be single lane closures and temporary traffic signals due to the work.
The project is scheduled to be completed mid-July.

New condominium proposed for River Road West property
A developer proposes building an 86-unit condominium in the west end.
Councillor Mark Kinney advised council that during the March 11 Coordinated Committee meeting a public meeting occurred in regards to the six-storey project.
Kinney, chair of the Community Services Section of Coordinated Committee, said that Wasaga Riverwoods Homes Inc. is the proponent.

Report outlines plans to create fundraising initiatives for library and arena project
Council received a report that highlights a 30, 60 and 90-day work plan for the creation of fundraising initiatives to support the new twin-pad arena and library project.

Schematic design approved for new twin-pad arena and library
Council has approved the updated schematic design for the new twin-pad arena and library. This is a major milestone in the development of the project.
