Town, Bayloc, and Zancor reach deal for purchase and sale of municipal beachfront property

The Town of Wasaga Beach is pleased to announce that council has agreed to sell town-owned land at the beachfront to Bayloc Developments Inc. with Zancor as a partner, subject to a maximum 120-day due diligence period.
If the sale is finalized, Bayloc and Zancor will redevelop the waterfront properties, creating ground floor retail spaces and restaurants with residential units above. A public square to host events and gatherings is also part of the project.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
Please be advised that the construction of the River Road West and Village Gate Drive
intersection improvements is scheduled to begin on Tuesday August 16th and is
anticipated to be completed by August 19th, 2022. A map identifying the location of

The Town of Wasaga Beach is extremely disappointed that CTV News Barrie, a reputable news organization, would choose to report an unbalanced story that contained factual inaccuracies and blatant lies with respect to events involving a personnel matter at the Town. And further, that a member of Council has chosen to share inaccurate comments.
Should the Ministry of Labour become involved, the Town has absolutely no concerns about its adherence to due process and its statutory obligations. ...
