The Town of Wasaga Beach is pleased to announce that J. Donato Construction Ltd. has donated $10,000 to the town’s twin-pad arena and library fundraising campaign.

Town launches new parking initiative

In response to concerns expressed by residents living on streets near beach areas, the Town of Wasaga Beach has launched a new parking initiative to encourage people to park in municipal lots.
Over the last few years, Municipal Law Enforcement observed an increase in cars parking on residential side streets close to beach areas, creating potential hazards.
After reviewing options staff recommended, council approved the implementation of paid on-street parking in these areas to replace the free parking. ...
Margaret Lalonde named Senior of the Year

The Town of Wasaga Beach and its Age-Friendly Community Advisory Committee are pleased to present the 2022 Senior of the Year award to long-time resident Margaret Lalonde, in recognition of significant volunteer contributions over the last eight years.

Wasaga and District Builders and Contractors Association gives to arena and library project

Today the Wasaga and District Builders and Contractors Association presented a $1,000 cheque to the Town of Wasaga Beach.
The donation is towards the community's new twin-pad arena and library project at 544 River Rd. W.
Members of council were on hand for the presentation this morning at town hall and Mayor Nina Bifolchi formally thanked the association for its generosity.
