Media Advisory: Beach Drive reopening event Jan. 17

The Town of Wasaga Beach will officially reopen Beach Drive at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The town is inviting media to attend a ceremony to mark the reopening of the road.
Mayor Brian Smith, council members, and public works staff involved in the road-reopening project will be on hand.
Town officials will be at the corner of Beach Drive and Spruce Street. Mayor Brian Smith will be available for interviews.

Mayor Brian Smith today issued the following statement on the death of former mayor Clair Robertson:
