The Town of Wasaga Beach is extremely disappointed that CTV News Barrie, a reputable news organization, would choose to report an unbalanced story that contained factual inaccuracies and blatant lies with respect to events involving a personnel matter at the Town. And further, that a member of Council has chosen to share inaccurate comments.
Should the Ministry of Labour become involved, the Town has absolutely no concerns about its adherence to due process and its statutory obligations. ...

The Oakview Woods Skateboard Park will be closed Aug. 1 to Aug. 3.
We are replacing two ramps and modifying some of the existing features to reduce noise.

Town and Bayloc negotiations continue

Negotiations regarding the redevelopment of town-owned land at the beachfront will continue for another month.
Yesterday, members of council approved discussions continuing between the town and Bayloc Developments Inc.
The town will provide further information when available.
