Do you have physical or mental health concerns but do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner to help you address them? The nurse practitioners* at this clinic are ready to help you! Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Wednesday and Thursday 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Appointments booked at this clinic are for patients who live in Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Clearview Township who do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner. If you are seeking services outside of these areas, please call 8-1-1 or visit https://health811.ontario.ca/static/guest/home. If you have a family doctor or nurse practitioner somewhere else in Ontario, please continue to see your doctor for concerns that require follow up or go to the Wasaga Beach After Hours Clinic (details below), if your concern requires minimal follow up. *Nurse practitioners are registered nurses who have additional education and nursing experience which allows them to diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and perform medical procedures. |

Mental Health Counselling |

Single-Session Mental Health Counselling Residents of South Georgian Bay (Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Clearview, and Blue Mountains) who do not have a local family doctor or nurse practitioner can book single-session mental health counselling appointments at the Wasaga Beach Medical Clinic. These counselling appointments are free of cost and are being offered by CFS Counselling + Wellbeing as part of their #ready2talk? counselling clinics. Appointments are available every Monday from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, starting March 18, 2024. In a medical emergency, always call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
This clinic does not routinely provide preventative care.
- If you are between the ages of 50-74 and have not had a screening mammogram in the last 2 years, you can contact the Ontario Breast Program at the Collingwood Hospital yourself at 705-444-8670.
- If you are between the ages of 50-74 with no first-degree relative (parent, sibling or child) with a history of colorectal cancer, you can obtain a FIT test by contacting Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-828-9213
- If you require a pap test, the South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team does run semi-regular clinics for individuals who do not have a family doctor.
