Support Local Parking Ticket Program |
For a limited time, from June 1st to June 30th, 2021, residents who receive a parking ticket from the Town can have the ticket cancelled if they provide proof of purchase from a small Wasaga Beach business within five days after receiving the ticket. The receipt must be in an amount equal to or greater than the early set fine amount (taxes not included). The program does not apply to tickets related to safety matters. Tickets that qualify

Fines
The Town of Wasaga Beach Parking Control By-law carries fines, ranging from $30.00 to $300.00, if a ticket is issued OR, up to $5,000.00, if a summons is issued. The by-law states that "No person shall park a vehicle...
- in a tow away zone
- in a fire route
- in a designated disabled parking space
- where prohibited by sign
- on or overhanging a sidewalk
- on a boulevard
- for the purpose of display the vehicle for sale
- facing the wrong way
- within one (1) meter of a driveway
- in a manner to obstruct traffic or interfere with snow removal
- a heavy vehicle on a highway or parking lot
- between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., November 1st to April 1st"
Any vehicle found in contravention of the Parking Control By-law may be issued a parking ticket and towed at the owner's expense.
Payment Details
By Mail or In Person |
You can pay your parking ticket by mail or by attending in person at the Town Administration Office, By-Law Enforcement Department. For your convenience, a drop off box is situated at the front entrance (Lewis Street) to the Town Administration Office. Write the number from the parking infraction notice on the front of your cheque or money order Make your cheque or money order payable to the “Town of Wasaga Beach” NOTE: Remember to allow sufficient time for your payment to be delivered. The Parking IMPORTANT: Check your payment carefully to ensure that you have paid the correct amount. If you make an incorrect payment, the transaction will be reversed and your ticket will remain outstanding. |
Pay Parking Tickets Online |
The Town of Wasaga Beach is now offering the convenience of paying parking tickets online. It is quick, easy and secure! Users can pay parking tickets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Be sure to have your credit card and parking infraction notice close at hand. A handling fee of $1.50 will be applied to online ticket payments. IMPORTANT: Check your payment carefully to ensure that you are paying the right amount. If you make an incorrect payment, the payment will be reversed or returned and your ticket will remain outstanding. The handling fee on incorrect online payments is non-refundable. |
How much do I pay? |
The amount due when making a payment within 7 business days of the date of the alleged parking infraction. After 35 business days of the date of the alleged parking infraction, it is suggested that you call to find out the current amount outstanding before you make payment. |

If you believe your parking ticket was issued in error, you can visit our First Attendance Facility at the Town Administration Office to discuss and review your parking ticket. You, or your authorized agent, must bring the Parking Infraction Notice or the Notice of Impending Conviction with you. For your convenience, please call the By-Law Enforcement Office in advance to arrange an appointment |
